ARC/STSA is pleased to share that Erin Monroy has been promoted to operations coordinator, and Kayla Tufano has been promoted to accreditation specialist.

For Monroy, who has been with the organization for more than two years, the word operations speaks to the act of running things smoothly — exactly how she envisions her mission in this role. Her responsibilities include managing billing and payments, as well as working with vendors. Monroy also helps review various content, manages ARC/STSA’s program data and leads the new Annual Report development project. “I love my role because I’m a self-described ‘accreditation geek’ and ‘data nerd.’ I enjoy getting to work with each member of our team and our volunteers,” said Monroy. “We continually encounter new ideas, solutions and arrangements that challenge the status quo — that is what I truly love about my job.”

In her role as accreditation specialist, Tufano is responsible for processing of program changes, annual accreditation reports, and managing data related to programmatic changes, including analysis of data to evaluate program compliance with the ARC/STSA directors.  She drafts communications and findings letters to programs/institutions. Tufano has worked with ARC/STSA for a year-and-a-half and has been successful in establishing collaborative relationships and assisting programs with navigating the nuances of accreditation. “I enjoy reviewing program changes and seeing the creative ways programs integrate updates into their curriculum. I find serving as a point of contact for our educators, and answering inquiries regarding accreditation to be very interesting. There is always something new in accreditation,” she said.

Congratulations to our staff members on these well-earned promotions.
