Registration Now Open – AFE Workshop and Site Visitor Training

Register online today for the Accreditation Fundamentals for Educators (AFE) Workshop, taking place Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, in conjunction with the Educators Conference in Tempe, Arizona. In addition to clarifying the Standards and Guidelines and Standards Interpretive Guides (SIGs), this newly expanded AFE will provide guidance on how to maintain accreditation – including differentiating between substantive and nonsubstantive program changes, how to respond to Findings Letters and how to prepare your team for an On-Site Evaluation.

Site Visitor Beginner/Refresher and Advanced Training sessions will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, during the Educators Conference’s all-new ARC/STSA Educator Track.

If you currently serve as a site visitor, join your colleagues to learn more about the recent updates and improvements made to the on-site evaluation process. If you are interested in becoming a site visitor, it is a great way to further contribute to surgical technology/surgical assisting education and strengthen your own program through the experiences that you gain.
